Exclusive interview with WILFRIED KNIGHT

GayPornZoom: Hi Wilfried, hope you had a lot of fun in the Raging Stallion’s “Porn Camp”. You filmed 2 movies for the studio: Focus/Refocus and Arabesque 2. Can you tell us more about the porn camp and your scenes/scene partners?

Wilfried Knight: I would not call it such thing as a porn camp cos it was far from being pressured in any way! The set was a massive beautiful villa in Californian wine country. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, easy going with a fabulous on set cook, and i was blessed by great partners, easy to be with on all levels, physically and mentally. And all of them, of course are extremely hot, inducing a chemistry that will show on camera: Francesco D’Macho, Damien Crosse and Steve Cruz. I, beyond the hot sweaty time i enjoyed with them, can count them as real friends, as well as all the support crew of Raging Stallion.

GPZ: We have also seen behind the scenes pictures from you upcoming Lucas Ent. movie called ‘Obsession’. How was the shooting with Matan Shalev and Avi Dar?

Wilfried: It was fun, both guys are really sexy and super sweet. Plus Mr Pam, is extremely joyful to work with, expert at making us feel at ease and focused. I also really enjoyed the script, which obviously comes with many more dialogues scenes, but i love the challenge and creativity part of it. Everyone really was putting an extra effort into it, great team work! Matan and Avi guarantee Lucas Entertainment a promising future on the market. You will just have to meet them in person and you will love them even more. I was very lucky to get together with them on screen.

GPZ: You had been a Lucas Entertainment exclusive for years, how was it like shooting for RSS? What is the difference between them?

Wilfried: I think they have a different vision as to what they want the movie or the action to look like. And also, of course, the kind of physique they go for; Michael recently got to make “Men of Israel” which is a beautiful piece, with a younger and smoother looking cast, whereas Raging Stallion, i believe opts for more rugged, ethnic, hairy men, which i tend to fit more into, after 6 years at Lucasentertainment. Michael gave me my first chance, promoted me very well, and always respected me. But like in any job, any position, it is nice to experience variety, and move on to try and learn. Whether it is with Lucas or Raging Stallion, shooting has always been great, professional and safe, no complaint in any way. And i am still open to work with Michael if anything comes up, for the occasional scene he would find me a good fit for. It is not a divorce, just an open relationship…Fashionable gay concept, isn’t it?

GPZ: I’m sure you are very busy these days, but what is an average day in life like for you?

Wilfried: I share my life between studies, work, and occasional porns, once to twice a year. I wake up at 5am, lift weights then cycle to wherever i have got to get to. I m pretty low key, and you will not really see me in any big parties. I am active, and week ends are spent hiking or climbing around. I am a big outdoor guy.

GPZ: Do you watch your own scenes? If yes, do you learn from them or you just want to check out if it looks good?

Wilfried: I actually do not and prefer the feedback from the pros. I probably should watch them, and i think i will from now on. MY problem is that i would be my own worse critic.

GPZ: Now you have worked for Lucas Entertainment, Raging Stallion and Lucas Kazan, which studio would you like to work for in the future? Do you have a porn crush?

Wilfried: I have no definite plan right now. I am very happy to have started this collaboration with Raging Stallion, and except also possible future work with Lucasentertainment, though not in near future, i am not planning to move on anywhere. I have a lot to explore within what Raging Stallion has to offer, just watch this space!
I do not really have a porn crush, it is all about chemistry on set, the first kiss usually tells. And i got very lucky this last shoot!

GPZ: If you could direct a porn movie, which porn actors would you like to have in the cast?

Wilfried: I have no watched enough porns really to know who i would put in. Directing is definitely something that interests me, but not just yet, i still have far too much to learn from the masters. And i still just enjoy being the performer! I d rather fuck than watch!

GPZ: What are your best and worst qualities? Do you consider yourself a perfect husband or a one night stand?

Wilfried: I am extremely driven, passionate, and hard worker, in all areas in my life. But i am moody, perfectionist, and snap easily if boundaries are crossed. Michael Lucas has been great at dealing with that side of mine, showing great patience. And i am working on that! So i become, as said before, my own worse critic or enemy. On the other hand, i have that inner fear of my own ability to become full of myself, and i do not want this to happen. I stay humble, always finding something to improve, and i prefer it that way. There is always something to learn.
I think i am a good, not great husband, as i believe everything is workable if you really found your match. But if i work hard at making it last, i also demand a lot from the other, which lot of gay men do not seem to be ready for. The concept of compromizing seems to scare men. I have had my share of failure, and it always takes two. I used to be a terrible boyfriend, husband, hurt people on the way, but through Karma, got played with too, hurt, and i learned to take responsibility for my fuck ups, and just simply, to be nicer.
No one is perfect, and no one really ever finds exactly what they are looking for in only one person.
I hope i am also a worthy one night stand simply cos i am passionate, take my time, look for connection rather than routine. Better quality than quantity. It is possible to be in love just for one night and remember it forever. Some one night stands mean more to me than some failed relationships. But others shall be the judge of that rather than me!

GPZ: Which is the funniest thing happened with you on a shooting?

Wilfried: I do not know if that s fully funny, but i ended up in Hospital on my first shoot, as i suffer from a bad nut allergy, and one of my partner ate peanuts prior to kissing me….But as Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge, we worked it out, and the show went on. Trooper here!

GPZ: What are you working on right now? Any upcoming shooting/events?

Wilfried: There is nothing planned in the immediate future, plus my manhood needs a little rest. All i can tell you is you ll probably see a different side of mine by beginning of next year.

GPZ: Would you like to say anything to your fans?

Wilfried: I am grateful for the support i have been getting for the last 6 years, as i never take anything as granted. Also i would like to say as someone recently asks me: I am as noisy in real life as i am on screen especially when i come…Nothing is fake!
