Hey Guys, today we have an exclusive interview with Ricky Martinez.

- First of all, please tell us about your name: many gay porn actors use Ricky Martinez, why did you decide to choose this one?

My name was chosen by accident.  First off, I when I started in porn, I knew very few actors and certainly none with this name.  I made contact with a local agent in Chicago and he gave me the first name Ricky.  I later started performing in webcam shows and was told I needed a last name.   I picked Martinez because I wanted to go with an Hispanic theme, as I have some Mexican blood in me.  This backfired for a few reasons, one being my fan base assumed I can speak Spanish, which I can’t lol.  In addition, I later found out there were others with that name.  By the time I thought about changing it, I already had 2 DVD’s on the market and didn’t want to confuse my fans, so I have left the name the way it is to this day.

- Where did the idea of making porn movies come?

Suggestion lol… During the many months of performing on webcam, my fans suggested that I either get into porn and/or escort.  To this day, I do both now.  Ironically, I don’t do webcam shows anymore, the money wasn’t worth it for me.  It was a great stepping stone though for getting into porn.

- How was your very first shoot? Were you nervous?

I was VERY nervous.  My first scene was the movie Lotus by Colt Studios.  My scene partner was Lucky Daniels.  I definitely had some “stage fright” going on.  The little blue pill wasn’t even working for me (until I got back to the hotel, then I was hard all night lol)

- You are also an escort, and a few days ago you shared a story on twitter (“When a client gives you oral, how do you politely say “more lips and less teeth because you’re rubbing me raw?”). Do you think that your clients sometimes choose you because you do porn?

I initially thought so, however I’m finding many of my clients don’t pay too much to porn actors names or watch porn period (so they claim).

- What’s the funniest thing that happened to you when you were meeting a client of yours?

Being asked repeatedly, “Are you a cop?”…”Are you sure you’re not a cop”

- I find your tweets really entertaining. One of my favorites is when you wrote that you were walking around with open fly, but fortunately you wore underwear, but I also like the one about the gym (“The day I choose to wear gym pants with no underwear happens to be the same day I have unexpected hard ons. Very embarrassing in public.”). So this mean you usually don’t wear underwear?

It depends on my mood lol.  I don’t like wearing clothes, period.  At home, I’m usually on in a pair of gym shorts or briefs and I sleep naked.  That particular day was just one of those that I decided not to wear anyJ.

- We’ve seen you working for many studios like Drake Rock, Dominic Ford, PerfectGuyz, Colt, Pride Studios and for It’s Gonna Hurt. I would like to about your scene for It’s gonna hurt…did it hurt? Did you need a diaper as you tweeted? hehe

Oh yes, it hurt!  By far the only scene I did where I walked away without a smile on my face.  I’m the kind of guy once a dick gets over 8 or 9 inches and a certain thickness, anal sex quickly goes from pleasure to pain.  Recovering wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be though.

- Which one is your favorite scene you’ve done so far?

Oh wow, tough question.  I have many, but the hottest was probably my scene with Derrek Diamond on the set of Raging Stallions.  This was on location, in the evening.  We were in this courtyard of some large estate fucking in the rain.  It was awesome to say the least lol!

- We’ve only seen you as the bottom, would you like to make a flip-flop or just top a guy?

My scenes with Drake Rock and Perfectguyz were flip flop.  I usually only top in my personal life (less pressure to be a bottom on film lol).  I have topped a few clients lately thought, just depends on timing.

- What would your advice be for somebody who wants to be a porn actor?

Do some research before choosing a name lol!
Seriously though, one, most porn actors can’t make a decent living doing porn alone.  Some dance, webcam, or escort like me.
2. Ask yourself why you want to do it.  If it’s just for the money, I’d say walk away.  If you really enjoy sex and performing on film, etc, then jump right in.
3. I don’t recommend shooting bareback scenes.  I haven’t and I never will.

- What is your favorite series, movie and song right now?

In general, I love action or comedy films.  I usually watch The Office, NCIS, or COPS.

- Are you single or taken?

I do have a special someone in my life right now

- Is there anybody in the porn industry that you really want to have sex with on screen?

- When you are not making movies what is an average day in life like for you?

Pretty hectic. I have a professional day job and I escort on a full time basis, so there is very little free time for Ricky these days.

- Do you think that size matters? What is the best size for you, and you you prefer cut or uncut dicks?

Size matters if it gets too big. Like I said before, anything over 8 or 9 and thick and it starts to hurt. I have no preference over cut type.

- On twitter you showed us your brother, what does your family thinks about you making porn movies?

They don’t know and I’m taking the chance that nobody on my twitter recognizes either of us lol.

- What are your plans for the future?

I’ll stay in porn as long as there is a demand for me.  I certainly don’t expect a full time career of it.  I see myself escorting for awhile.  I love to satisfy people, I truly get off on it.  I’ll begin my masters degree this fall, so I’ll have a pretty busy lifestyle the next couple of years.
